Help! A Card Is Following Me Around! Stalker Card Tarot Spread

We’ve all had this happen: you have that one stalker card that keeps popping up in your tarot spread, no matter how many times you shuffle or bury it deep in the deck.

But don’t worry, this isn’t random! When a card follows you around, it’s trying to teach you something. This spread is designed to help you make sense of its message, so you can understand the lesson and (hopefully!) stop it from haunting your readings.

How to Use This Stalker Card Tarot Spread:

Start by pulling out the card that keeps appearing.

Place it in position one, separate from the deck. Then shuffle the rest of your cards while asking: What do I need to learn from this card?

Reading the Spread:

Card 1 is the recurring card itself. Set it aside before you shuffle the rest of the deck. While you shuffle, ask for clarity on what this card is really trying to show you.

Cards 2 and 3 sit beneath Card 1 and represent the roots of its message. But as they're in slightly different positions, their meanings differ. Because they sit below Card 1 in the spread, they’re influencing how that recurring card is showing up in your life right now.

  • Card 2 (on the left) reflects past lessons or habits you’re still carrying. If reversed, it might point to a pattern you’re unaware of or struggling to release.

  • Card 3 (on the right) reveals how this energy is playing out in the present. Look for any connections between cards 2 and 3, as together, they create the energy of Card 1.

Card 4 sits underneath it all. It’s the deeper reason the top card keeps showing up. What is this card trying to get you to integrate or realise? If it’s reversed, it could be an area where you’re especially stuck, or something you’ve been avoiding.

Card 5 is placed slightly apart from the rest. It represents your way forward. What action can you take to work with this message and finally release the grip this card has on your readings?

Hopefully, this spread helps you figure out why that card won’t leave you alone! And allows you to integrate its lessons so you can move forward with clarity and joy.
